Restorations are truly the heart and soul of our business. It was founded because of the love of the craft and the desire to build cool trucks!
Over the years, we’ve built everything from daily drivers to rock crawlers to award-winning show trucks! If you can dream it, we can build it.
Let’s take a look at the process below!
Planning
As stated above, we can build anything starting in any state (even salvaged from the scrapyard!), but the more in depth we go, the more time it's going to take and the more it's going to cost. So, first things first, we need to talk about your budget and timeline. From there, we can contour the whole project to whatever works for you. This way, we can make sure you're getting the options that are actually important to you!
Teardown
The "bag and tag" stage! Here, we will tear down the project and sort all the parts. This is pretty much just seeing what we're working with. Everything will be tested for functionality and either be added to the "refurbish" or "replace" parts list. Once this process is done, we will finalize the project quote and begin the build! Any changes after this point will require a change order.
Chassis
We do all sorts of custom work here, from various mounts to custom tubing. This means that we always start with a full mock-up. Once we know everything fits, the chassis can be sandblasted and coated with the customers’ preferred coating, depending on the budgeted build plan. We do this last so there aren’t any additional holes created and exposed for rust to form in.
Powertrain
This can be anything as simple as a stock rebuild, all the way up to a full “nut and bolt” swap with custom performance parts and powder coating. No detail is left unchecked, even going as far as new part stickers and electroplated bolts to manufacturer specifications!
Body and Interior
The small details are as important to us as they are to you! Rust repair or stock steel body work? We can do it. Custom fiberglass panels for a whole new look? We got you. We will work with you to bring you the best driving experience you can imagine, all the way from the look to the feel. We have a full upholstery shop as well, so a fully custom interior isn’t out of the question. Custom dashes, consoles, stereo systems and boxes, lighting, we’ve done it all!
Final Assembly
All thanks to our talented crew, this is where it all comes together. As with the chassis, everything gets mocked up first, then disassembled for primer and paint before getting assembled for the last time. Final assembly is also when everything gets that polish and shine that wins trophies. There is no guarantee that it outshines the smile on your face though.
